There had been rumors that Volkswagen will produce a high-performance Polo R variant. Now, with the entrance into the WRC, the rumors could be true as British magazine Autocar reports that VW is readying a new Polo hot hatch. The Volkswagen Polo R WRC is being entered into the WRC, and oh, you’ve gotta love the widebody! Details on drivers and cars aren’t out yet, but according to reports, VW will start racing by the end of the year with a full 12 months of work before going for a title in 2013.
