Just as the new Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sports breaks the world land speed record for a production car, it may be broken yet again with this upcoming supercar. You may not have heard of TranStar Racing, LLC but they are cooking up a serious player in the land speed record title with the Dagger GT. It will be powered by a Nelson Racing 572 twin-turbo engine that’s said to deliver up to 2000 horsepower on a racing fuel mixture. With that amount of fury, the car is estimated to cover the quarter mile in just 6.6 seconds onwards to a top speed of well over 300mph. Five lucky owners can get a chance to drive at that insane speed when the Dagger GT goes into production in 2011. $450,000.
