While Bugatti may be enjoying their world record now as the makers of the fastest production car in the world, they can’t rest on their laurels just yet. We may be looking at the car that will beat the Veyron SuperSports 16.4. Jason Castriota lends his creative mind to Shelby SuperCars and this might be the record-beating car. Codenamed ‘New Generation’, this latest dynamite packs 1,350 horsepower in a shell weighing just 2,300 pounds. This means that the power-to-weight ratio of the New Gen is twice that of the Veyron. Expected top speed is 275mph which leaves the Veyron in its wake. Expected price is said to be less than a million but it’s money surely well-spent. ~$970,000.
