Somebody who also seems to defy time and gravity is Sofia Vergara. The Colombian has been modeling since she was 17 and acting for the past 16 years. A chance encounter at a Colombian beach steered the course for Sofia’s life as she became a commercial model in her teens. Life came to an abrupt halt in 2000 when Sofia was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Fortunately, she’s back on track to a full recovery.
