Paul Newman’s VW Beetle

If you’re into collecting cars, you might want to consider this red 1963 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible that once belonged to famous actor, Paul Newman. Just so you know, this VW Bug is not your ordinary beetle as it has been transformed by renowned Indycar builder Jerry Eisert into a racing machine. It is powered by a mid-mounted 351-cubic-inch Ford Windsor V8 engine, that can pump out 300 horsepower, that takes up the entire backseat. The engine is mated with a five-speed ZF transmission, which likely derived from a Ford GT 40, with additional suspension parts, as well as radiators under the front and rear hoods.
