The German automaker has astounded car enthusiasts again in this year’s Detroit Auto Show with their latest hybrid supercar, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG E-Cell. Featuring a striking matte-yellow paint, the SLS AMG can crank up 525hp and 659 lb-ft torque with its four synchronous electric engines that are close to the wheel to increase handling and eliminate hub-mount problems. The car also features a lithium-ion battery that has a regenerative braking system to recharge electricity to the battery when using the brakes, while the Silver Arrow controls the energy flow.
