This car, the Audi A1 e-tron, dubbed as the MCV or Mega City Vehicle uses an electric motor and was selected as the winner of this year’s Detroit Motor Show’s (4th) E-car Award 2010. It was held on June 3, during a trade show in Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance. No surprise there as the car offers zero emission and a driving range of more than 50 km per liter in city driving. It’s because of its powerful engine that can produce 102hp and an awesome combustion engine that replenishes the battery when it’s totally discharged.
