2012 Range Rover Sport

It used to be the norm when cars had five-speed transmissions. Then came six, then seven and now, the 2012 Range Rover Sport introduces an eight-speed monster. Sure you won’t beat any Formula 1 cars or any 911s with that but eight gears are still pretty impressive nonetheless. The top-of-the-line model will be powered by a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 that will take the car from naught to 60 in 5.8 seconds. A diesel version will also be available for those conscious of the environment and the cost of fuel. If the speed and muscle doesn’t impress you, the 17-speaker audio ensemble inside should. $TBD.
